Organized by the Istanbul Water and Sewerage Administration (İSKİ), the “Memory of Water” Short Film Competition is being held for the third time this year under the theme “Protection of Water Resources – From the First Drop to Eternity.”

The competition aims to emphasize the vital importance of water in human life, raise awareness on the protection and efficient use of water resources, and encourage the public to engage with environmental consciousness through the art of cinema.

🎬 Who Can Participate?
All associate, undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral students (both Turkish and international) studying at universities in Türkiye are eligible to participate individually or as a team.

📅 Competition Schedule:

• Application Period: May 20 – November 1, 2025

• Application Deadline: November 1, 2025

• Announcement of Results: November 7, 2025

• Award Ceremony: November 14, 2025 (World Cinema Day)
  Venue: İSKİ General Directorate, Yusuf Ziya Erdem Conference Hall

🏆 Awards:

• First Prize: 100,000 TL

• Second Prize: 80,000 TL

• Third Prize: 60,000 TL

• İSKİ Special Award: 25,000 TL

• Jury Special Award: 25,000 TL

🎥 Films must be at least 1 minute and no longer than 20 minutes (excluding credits). They must be in Turkish or include Turkish subtitles, and participants may submit up to three films.
